What is with this loud booming music played in the music stores? I had to yell at the sales clerk who just smiled and looked at me like I was just an old f--t (which could be quite true BUT). Obviously it works as someone behind me asked for the CD that was playing and the clerk was grinning from ear to ear!! Unfortunately she will be wearing a hearing aid when she reaches my age but what do I know!

Thanks to Kevin, Elaine and Em for taking time from their busy schedule to send a beautiful flower arrangement - just made my day.

THINGS WE CAN LEARN FROM A TURTLE:
-The swift do not always win the race.
-Slow, quiet and observant my be more important in the end.
-Sometimes we need a tough exterior.
-Minute by minute, step by step, one step at a time - the
job gets done.
-There are times when not being seen has its advantages.
-We all have a role to play in the grand scheme of things; and none is better or more important than any other- although some may be perceived as more glamorous.
