Watch your thoughts - they become words
Watch your words - they become actions
Watch your actions - they become habits
Watch your habits - they become character
Watch your character - it becomes your destiny.

- If quitters never win, and winners never quit, then who is the fool who coined the phrase “quit while you’re ahead”?

We hear about all those terrorists, most of whom are here legally, but they hung around on expired visas, some for as long as fifteen years. Now compare that to Blockbuster. You are two days late with a video and they track you down! Let’s put Blockbuster in charge of immigration.

Yesterday I became the owner of my first set of good quality stainless steel cookware (an early birthday present). Being what I call a "junior senior" and having been married like forever it occurred to me that I had always made do with various cheap cookware and thought it was time to own some real good stuff - so exciting - mind you it does not mean that I am going to get serious about cooking or anything rash like that but it sure does look good!!

Another Academy Award Show (Botox on parade) - you know you need to get a life when you sit and watch an award show for four hours. Dresses were interesting with a lot of vintage designs and nothing too startling except of course Diane Keaton who knows how to stand out in a crowd so even though most people will not remember what all designer clothes the stars were wearing they will remember Diane - isn't that the point - who says you get too soon old and too late smart?? Couldn't help but notice Peter Jackson who directed Lord of the Rings as he was front and center a lot and wonder who created his style, didn't recall anyone asking him who he was wearing - looked like he forgot to take a bath and since he did wear a tie why not do it right - then again people will remember him.
