It has been a week of frustration trying to get my wrist back in working order. I do all the exercises given to me but end up with a sore swollen arm. It will come back in time I hope and perhaps some physiotherapy will be the answer.

Saga of a cedar hedge next door:
- Butthead when he lived there did what he could to kill it.
- Bertram when he lived there took a machetti to the hedge and crusified it.
- Last summer and fall we went over and babied the hedge trimming it nicely and this spring it finally looked good. This week neighbours decided to cut all the branches off the bottom of the hedge leaving just a few branches on the top - oh my heart - why do neighbours think they can do what they want with their trees on their property, there should be a law!!!!!!!!

Another birthday has come and gone and I am still 49+ + - they seems to come around much too fast now!! Many thanks to all those who helped to make my day special. Difficult to do a lot of partying with a broken arm but perhaps if the Lord is willing and I stay away from ice I will make up for it next year.

How about that snow today - where is the global "warming"????

Today is our "25" Wedding Anniversary and is quite significant in that we most likely will be kicking up daisies or some kind of bad weeds by the time 50 years of marriage is upon us - hard to believe it has been 25 years. George presented me with beautiful diamond earrings that he hand picked and had them set in gold studs. BLING is certainly my "thing" and one cannot have too much of a good thing. Hamburgers are on the menu for today as Burger King beckoned us 25 years ago on our way to TO to help ward off starvation and thus became our Wedding Dinner and our Anniversary Dinner over the years!! We never claimed to be very sophisticated and our needs are mainly simple which is perhaps one of the reasons we are still together along with our love and respect for each other.

Out of the 1000 things I believe you cannot do with a broken arm they have now added up to about 2000. Shopping OMG it is heartbreaking to not be able to buy all the things I "REALLY REALLY NEED" - unfortunately the malls will have to struggle by without me BUT my bank account will be looking right some good. I am not a patient person and my frustration level is over the top - at least another four weeks or more - I will most likely be unbearable by then!!

OK KEVIN - land in NICARAUGA - you cannot fool all of the people all the time not even your mother who needless to say is more gullible than most!!!!
