I am now a staunch advocat of low flow toilets.
After several days without power at the cottage, and the resulting lack of water to flush toilets; I got quite fit hauling 100 liters+ every day from the lake.
You can't appreciate running water until you live without it.
As for Quebec Hydro...the reason the power was out for so long...no hydro poles!! It strikes me that the only thing more abundant in Quebec than free and easily generated power is frigin' trees!

Even in my most drunken and stupid state, I'm sure I could do better than to urinate on a national war monument. Given this, what is up with the coverage on this issue? Dumb frat boy displays questionable judgement. Give him a ticket, say some harsh words...lets move on folks.
