So it seems that my neighbour that I hate with the fire of a thousand burning suns has split from his wife/girlfriend/partner. It seems that its not a pretty site. He has his meager possessions piled at the end of the driveway...not so wise on garbage day. It seems that her obsessive compulsive ways have sent him off the deep end and he's out of there. So this opens up a whole world of possibilities, in that its not likely that she'll be able to sustain the mortage on their place...if he's looking for halfers. So its likely that they'll sell and this increases the likelyhood that we could get a right of way to our rear yard...meaning parking. I know its not right to take pleasure in the misfortune of others...but things are looking up on Ivy Cres.

My adjacent neighbour's lawn is a mess.
Not that mine is any better...its pretty much dead from the sun.
But he doesn't even have grass...its pretty much weeds that are knee deep now. I understand that he rents and isn't really motivated to take care of somebody elses property...but at least he could be a good neighbour.
I'm torn...do I cut it for him? Or ignore it...with the result being an unruly mess that will bother me to no end.
I know what I'm doing with my side...I'm pulling up the rest of the grass and planting shrubs. I've had it with three seasons of dead grass.

I obviously have nothing good to talk about.
