A recently completed job. The landscape will have to wait till spring. I'm quite fond of this one.

51 Ivy...NOW WITH POO PIPES!



Seeing as the excavation guys were at a job across the street, I got them to dig up our yard to install new sanitary and storm connections to the house. We currently share the sanitary with the adjacent house and didn't have any storm water connection. So...after getting rid of the tree (no small feat with the City) and about four feet of solid stone...now we have poo pipes. This of course opens a whole world of possibilities...a new powderoom on the main floor...drainage for the basement...the mind spins at the wonders.

In addition to lainers recent post...
I was watching "The Outlaw Josey Wales" with Em yesterday, and I howled when Clint Eastwood mouthed his famous line "Dyin' ain't much of a livin', boy". I then had to explain to Em why that was such a great line...needless to say I dread the day he uses it in a conversation...I'll have much explaining to do.
