So I've been using a new laptop for a few months now. A very nice 15" MacBookPro. Its run flawlessly and I've expounded on its wonder to several people. I've been a bit hesitant to really toot my horn about it...something about getting too confident or committed to it. I've been burned by computers in the past and I didn't want to jinx it. Well I was right to be hesitant. This $3K laptop pretty much went south yesterday morning...logic board and harddrive. I've had one or the other go...but never both at the same time. To top it off...I had XP on another partition...and it would boot fine into Windows.

Just finished watching "an inconvinient truth".
Wow.
I'm convinced. And a little scared.
Let's just say CO2 emmisions will be dropping off at 51 Ivy.
