Last race of the season. Looks like a 4th overall finish in my class. Not even close to the podium, the first three are consistently several seconds faster than me...everyone from fourth back are separated by tenth's of seconds. I think it comes down to technique now...the car is as fast as its allowed to be in the class. The funny thing is I need to learn how to drive the car slower...not faster. Most of my time is lost with spinning tires and loss of traction. The secret is to maintain the momentum, rather than nail the brakes and then try to power out on the throttle. When I get this right, its incredible how fast the car feels.

More from the orchard. That shirt Em has on is a fake "Peru" soccer shirt. I don't think this is the real Peru national soccer shirt. It also says 100% cotton on the label...but I'm pretty sure its all polyester. I got it in the market in in Cusco...they wanted 10 bucks for it...I talked her down to $3 and she threw in a wooly shoulder bag for myself. Full retail is for suckers.
