What we had on our street was enough to be painful in the Lexus. The Audi treated it like it was any other day. 
When I bought the car, the Quattro feature wasn't really a big selling point for me, in fact I wasn't really sure I wanted AWD. That shirt Em has on is a fake "Peru" soccer shirt. I don't think this is the real Peru national soccer shirt. It also says 100% cotton on the label...but I'm pretty sure its all polyester. I got it in the market in in Cusco...they wanted 10 bucks for it...I talked her down to $3 and she threw in a wooly shoulder bag for myself. Full retail is for suckers.

This is a shot I found on my phone. Its the appetizer from a restaurant in Cusco,Peru. This was a "soup" course. The presentation in this case was in the form of shooters. If I remember correctly, one was potato, the other was squash and I can't remember the last. It was delicious.

I went for a paddle on Thursday morning and noticed that the Chinese embassy was dumping construction waste into the river. Now...I'm not normally one who really cares about ecological issues..in fact I think some of the policies in place with respect to watersheds and rivers is a little over the top. As you can see they are dumping construction waste into the river. Considering builders and developers have to jump thru hoops to build anywhere near a river (and post bonds/risk fines). This is just country bumpkin pathetic. Its a shame, because the shoreline along the embassy property is quite wild and natural...obviously a little less so now.
